Praise to the Lord of Fire; dread to His enemies. Let the gates open and the weak be judged.
Mythos
Cast out by the other System Lords, Sokar built power on fear and spectacle. He wore the guise of death-gods across worlds, and on ours took the fallen-angel mantle. Old tales whisper that an Unas once bore his symbiote.
From Delmak he reshaped its moon into Ne'tu: a furnace-world whose poisoned air and open mantle matched the legends of hell. Enemies disappeared there under his warden’s lash.
Dominion & War
- Forged one of the largest fleets among the Goa'uld and prepared to strike multiple System Lords at once.
- Hunted his rival Apophis, who fled to Earth and nearly drew Sokar’s wrath through the Gate iris.
- Kept rare personal shielding and ruled with cold calculation and relentless cruelty.
Fall of the Fire-Lord
While Sokar readied his onslaught, an alliance of Tok’ra and SG-1 sabotaged Ne'tu, triggering the moon’s destruction. Sokar’s flagship was caught in the blast and the Lord of Fire perished; in the chaos, Apophis seized his armies.
